It was lovely to join children and staff at St Agnes Primary School to celebrate their Peace Mala Gold Award! Peace Mala is a multi-award winning project that was founded fter the events of 9/11, the central rule of which is, “treat others as you would wish them to treat you”. As a participating school, the children at St Anges have spread the word of acceptance of religious, cultural and social diversity in and around Manchester and have, as a result, been awarded a gold accreditation for their efforts.

With world events, the Peace Mala message is in combatting racism, religious intolerance, ignorance and lack of respect to other communities is vitial. The children at St Agnes have worked, and continue to work, hard to spread the Peace Mala message and we are thrilled and proud of their determination and achievement.
