Climate, environment, and clean air are of huge importance to me. Better environments result in healthier, longer lives, as well as give us pride of where we live. I know this is also an extremely important issue to younger generations, who have worries about how climate change will impact their future and this planet. This is why I continue to raise this issue locally and in Parliament, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to live a happy and healthier life.

- I held an Adjournment Debate on Community Health in Manchester Rusholme, where I raised the value of accessing local natural environments, especially for my constituency where garden space is so limited with the Minister.
- I made a statement on the global waste crisis and the circular economy as a Member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on the Environment.
