town hall Manchester attack
town hall Manchester attack
On May 22nd we commemorated the one year anniversary of the Arena Attack which tragically took the lives of 22 people. I wrote in HuffPost about the importance of not fearing faith, but instead denying hatred and division.
I was honoured to attend the incredibly moving Cathedral service which paid tribute to the 22 lives lost a year ago. The closing words of the Bishop of Manchester rang absolutely true – all those affected will forever be part of our city. In the evening, there was an amazing crowd in Albert Square for the Manchester Together event. Standing shoulder to shoulder with one another in song showed the true spirit of Manchester – a city united.
