I had a great evening on Friday at Angela Rayner’s fundraiser with Labour’s Shadow Foreign Secretary, David Lammy MP, as well as members and councillors from across Greater Manchester. Angela is a fantastic Deputy Leader, a hard-working representative for Ashton and Failsworth, a loyal friend, and a working class hero.  

I also had a brilliant evening at the Labour North West Gala Dinner last week with Labour leader, Keir Starmer MP and Manchester’s own Gary Neville. It was great to see so many Manchester Gorton CLP members and councillors in person after such a long time!
