This summer, I want to highlight some of the local businesses, charities and community groups that make Manchester Gorton so wonderful. Each week, I’ll be showcasing a chosen group on my social media as part of the #SaturdaySpotlight series. 

I’ve visited some wonderful businesses so far, including the Levant Cafe, the Myriad Foundation, Levenshulme Bakery and Cracking Good Food. 

From brand new businesses, to community institutions and award winning charities – I hope this series will shine a light on the people behind the places that make Manchester Gorton such a great place to live and work.
